Born in Sydney, guitarist Giuseppe Zangari received his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, studying under Gregory Pikler. An Australian and Italian Government award allowed Giuseppe to undertake further study in 2006 in Milan, Italy at the Accademia Internazionale della Musica, and at the Conservatorio di Musica "Giuseppe Verdi".
Since 2003, Giuseppe has been a teacher and lecturer at the Newcastle Conservatorium, University of Newcastle. He has been on staff at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, tutored students at University of New South Wales and is currently a guitar examiner for the Australian Music Examinations Board (A.M.E.B.).
As a soloist and chamber musician Giuseppe has given live broadcasts for radio and performed extensively at a variety of festivals and concerts throughout Australia. His recent collaboration has been with internationally acclaimed flautist, Jane Rutter. Concert tours have included New Caledonia with Australian pianist Simon Tedeschi, a concert tour of Sweden with flautist Sally Walker and the Haga Duo (Sweden), and an Australian concert tour with French guitarist Rafael Andia. Giuseppe has performed with many orchestras including the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
Giuseppe performs regularly for charities including the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Amnesty International, War Child Aid and the Special Olympics N.S.W. See Giuseppe's web page here.
